Additional Summer Special services announced between Mumbai & Howrah

Mumbai, Apr 11 (UNI) In response to the surge in passenger traffic during the summer season, the Central Railway has announced the operation of two additional special train services between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai, and Howrah, aiming to ease travel pressure and provide greater convenience to long-distance passengers.
As per the official schedule, Train No. 01145 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Howrah Special will depart from LT Terminus at 8:15 p,m. on 14 April and is scheduled to arrive at Howrah at 6 a.m. on the third day of its journey. In the return direction, Train No. 01146 Howrah–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will leave Howrah at 2:45 p,m, on 16 April and reach LT Terminus at 11:45 p.m. the following day.
The trains will halt at key stations including Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar, Kharagpur and Santragachi, ensuring connectivity across major regions along the route.
In terms of composition, each train will consist of two air-conditioned second-class coaches, nine air-conditioned third-class coaches, three sleeper-class coaches, four general second-class coaches, one general second-class coach with guard’s brake van, and one generator van.
Booking for the special train numbered 01145 will commence from 12 April at all computerised reservation centres as well as on the official IRCTC website.
